Only a few photos for this post as it was only a mornings walk.
After leaving the hostel we all walked together for a little while and then I continued with the boys while the others went off to find some lunch. Ben was determined to lead the way especially once the 'Andy Murray Crew' caught up with us again.
I don't know why but I didn't take many photos today, I think the ups and downs had just got a bit samey. Anyway if you look at the background to the next photo (rather than me!) you can see all the craggy bits we had just completed.
We continued on and then dropped down to visit the Roman Army Museum. One of the best things here was an eagles eye view of the Wall path. Luckily it was just us in the room because we all kept calling out "we just walked that bit" and "I saw that yesterday". It was great to see this after having walked most of the main sections of Hadrian's Wall, it gave a real sense of achievement.
I finished today by walking the last half mile into Greenhead and it is from here that I will start walking the Pennine Way in a couple of weeks time.
